CodedString = 65

Coded string (A): a string of ASCII characters in a predefined format.

Enumerated = 69

Enumerated (E): one value from a list of predefined values.

Float = 70

Float (F): a floating point number with defined range, resolution, units and format.

FreeText = 83

Free text (S): a free-format alphanumeric string.

Integer = 73

Integer (I): an integer with defined range, units and format.

List = 76

List (L): one or more values from a list of predefined values.

Unknown = 0

The type isn't known.

Remarks

S-57 Edition 3.1, Appendix A, Chapter 2 §2.1 gives each attribute one of six types, written as the letters E, L, F, I, A and S. Each member's value is the code of that letter.
