Fields

ErddapGriddap = 3

An ERDDAP griddap dataset, chosen by dataset id, fetched as a NetCDF subset of the area and hours.

GribFilter = 0

A NOMADS GRIB filter (filter_gfswave.pl, filter_gfs_0p25.pl): one request per forecast hour, cut to the area and the chosen parameters, appended into one GRIB2 file.

GribIndex = 1

Whole-grid GRIB2 files with a .idx index beside each (NOAA's noaa-gfs-bdp-pds bucket on AWS): only the chosen parameters' messages are read, with HTTP byte ranges, and appended into one file. No area cut, so it suits larger areas.

NwsAlerts = 2

Active alerts from api.weather.gov for the marine zones of an area, as NWS GeoJSON (CAP).
