Namespace EncDotNet.S100

Classes

BundledDatasetProcessorFactory

A ready-to-use IDatasetProcessorFactory seeded with the official S-100 feature and portrayal catalogues bundled in EncDotNet.S100.Specifications and supporting every built-in product.

PngS100DatasetRenderer

Renders an S-100 layer to PNG image bytes. This is the batteries-included renderer: with the bundled catalogues the simple path is a single call — await new PngS100DatasetRenderer().RenderAsync(dataset).

S100CompositeOptions

Options controlling a multi-layer composite render (the IReadOnlyList<S100Layer> overload of IS100DatasetRenderer<TResult>). Mirrors S100RendererOptions but adds an optional explicit shared viewport and mariner settings — the two cross-dataset concerns a composite introduces over a single-dataset render.

S100Dataset

An opened S-100 dataset — the raw data plus its detected product specification. A dataset carries no rendering or feature-decoding behaviour: rendering is performed by an IS100DatasetRenderer<TResult>, and feature access (which presupposes a feature catalogue) lives on S100FeatureCatalogue.

S100DatasetRendererExtensions

Convenience helpers over IS100DatasetRenderer<TResult>.

S100DatasetValidationExtensions

Validation for S100Dataset: running a product's bundled rule pack against a dataset.

S100ExchangeSet

An opened S-100 exchange set: its parsed CATALOG.XML and the datasets it lists, each of which opens as an S100Dataset parsed against the bundled catalogues. S-100 Part 17.

S100ExchangeSetDataset

One dataset listed by an S100ExchangeSet: its discovery metadata and, for an S-101 base cell, the sequential updates the exchange set ships for it.

S100ExchangeSetProtectionExtensions

S-100 Part 15 data protection for S100ExchangeSet: reading an exchange set whose datasets are encrypted.

S100FeatureCatalogue

A feature catalogue (ISO 19110 / S-100 Part 5) — the lens through which an S100Dataset's features are read. Because decoding a feature's type name and attributes presupposes a feature catalogue, feature access lives here rather than on S100Dataset.

S100Layer

A renderable layer: an S100Dataset viewed through a portrayal lens (a feature catalogue plus a portrayal catalogue). The layer is the composable unit of rendering — a single layer renders one dataset, and (as the API grows) an ordered list of layers composites a multi-product stack (e.g. an S-101 chart under S-102 bathymetry and S-411 sea ice) into one image.

S100PortrayalCatalogue

A portrayal catalogue (S-100 Part 9) — the symbology rules used to render an S100Dataset. Use Bundled(string) for the official catalogue shipped in EncDotNet.S100.Specifications, or FromAssetSource(IAssetSource) to supply your own.

S100RendererOptions

Format-agnostic options controlling how a dataset is rendered (output size, colour palette, symbol/text scaling, time step, background, and instruction suppression). Format-specific options (e.g. JPEG quality) belong on the concrete renderer that produces that format.

Interfaces

IS100CompositeRenderer<TResult>

Renders an ordered stack of S100Layer values into a single composited result of type TResult. The stack is ordered / suppressed by the renderer-neutral S-98 interoperability engine (e.g. an S-101 chart beneath an S-102 bathymetry surface, S-98 Annex A §A-6.9.1), then painted against one shared viewport.

IS100DatasetRenderer<TResult>

Renders an S-100 S100Layer to a result of type TResult. The result type is a parameter so the same abstraction can produce encoded image bytes (PngS100DatasetRenderer), and — in future — richer results such as bitmaps or Mapsui layer collections, without changing the contract.
