Extensions that apply EcdisDisplaySettings to a freshly-constructed per-spec vector portrayal catalogue. Called by every vector dataset processor immediately after it builds the catalogue and before VectorPipeline consumes it.

Methods

ApplyTo(EcdisDisplaySettings, IVectorPortrayalCatalogue)

Applies the supplied settings to catalogue: resolves the ECDIS category to the spec's display-mode id and activates it; then writes per-spec hidden-VG ids as user-off overrides. Idempotent and path-independent — any prior user overrides are cleared first, so the effective visibility is a pure function of settings even when catalogue is reused across renders (the per-spec processors hold a single long-lived catalogue). This also ensures a viewing group hidden by an earlier render is restored when a later render no longer hides it.
