Methods

Validate(S100Dataset)

Runs the bundled validation rule pack for the dataset's product specification (for example S124NavigationalWarningRules.Default for S-124) against the parsed dataset.

Parameters

dataset S100Dataset: The dataset to validate.

Returns

ValidationReport: The findings, or null when the product has no rule pack. A dataset that passes every rule returns a report with no findings (IsValid is true).

Remarks

Validation is a pure function of the parsed dataset, and the report is cached: calling this again on the same dataset returns the same report without re-running the rules.

To run your own rules, build them with ValidationRuleBuilder and run a ValidationRuleSet<TModel> against the product's typed model or dataset type instead.

Exceptions

ArgumentNullException: dataset is null.
ObjectDisposedException: dataset has been disposed.
