Class PassagePlaceNames

Namespace
EncDotNet.S100.Datasets.Pipelines.Navigation
Assembly
EncDotNet.S100.Datasets.Pipelines.dll

Names a place on a passage from the loaded S-101 cells, such as "Thorn Channel · off Calshot", for leg rows and the verdict's "where".

public sealed class PassagePlaceNames
Inheritance
PassagePlaceNames
Inherited Members

Remarks

A best-effort label, not a gazetteer. The water name is the smallest named Fairway or SeaAreaNamedWaterArea that contains the point. The "off" name is the nearest named LandRegion, BuiltUpArea or Landmark within MaxOffDistanceMeters, measured to its nearest vertex. Names come from FeatureNames (featureName, objectName and their S-57 acronyms).

Each cell is indexed the first time a point falls inside its bounds. Instances are safe to share across threads.

Fields

MaxOffDistanceMeters
