Enum S101UpdateInstruction

Namespace
EncDotNet.S100.Datasets.S101
Assembly
EncDotNet.S100.Datasets.S101.dll

Record update instruction (RUIN) — and the per-element variants SAUI / FAUI / IUIN / ATIN — that drive sequential update application.

public enum S101UpdateInstruction : byte

Fields

Delete = 2

Delete the referenced record/attribute/association (RUIN = 2).

Insert = 1

Insert a new record/attribute/association (RUIN = 1).

Modify = 3

Modify the referenced record/attribute/association (RUIN = 3).

None = 0

No update instruction recorded (in-memory / base data default).

Remarks

Numeric values match the ISO 8211 encoding used by S-101 (S-100 Part 10a): 1 = Insert, 2 = Delete, 3 = Modify. None (0) is a non-spec sentinel meaning "no instruction recorded" — used for records built in memory (for example the S-57 → S-101 translator) and as the safe default before a value is read.
