Remarks
S-101 and S-401 (IEHG inland ENC) share the S-101 in-memory document model, so one translator serves both; only the catalogue it validates against, the mapping it resolves object classes with, and the product it stamps on the output differ. A maritime ENC targets S101; an inland ENC targets S401 (issue #608).
Properties
Edition
The product specification edition the translated document declares (its
DSID product specification edition).
public required string Edition { get; init; }
Property Value
InlineTextualInformation
Whether the S-57 textual attributes (INFORM, NINFOM,
TXTDSC, NTXTDS) become information complex attributes
on the feature itself, one instance per attribute, where its class binds
information. When false, or where the class
doesn't bind it, they go into a NauticalInformation record
associated with the feature.
public bool InlineTextualInformation { get; init; }

Remarks
The IEHG S-57 to S-401 conversion guidance makes the inline attribute the
default automated conversion, and the S-401 portrayal rules read it from
the feature (for example the NoticeMark text panel).
S101
Translation into S-101, validated against the bundled S-101 Feature Catalogue (edition 2.0.0).
public static S57TranslationTarget S101 { get; }
Property Value
S401
Translation into S-401 (IEHG inland ENC), validated against the bundled S-401 Feature Catalogue (edition 1.3.0), for S-57 inland ENCs.
public static S57TranslationTarget S401 { get; }
