Enum VerificationOutcome

Namespace
EncDotNet.S100.ExchangeSets
Assembly
EncDotNet.S100.ExchangeSets.dll

The outcome of verifying a single file or the catalogue as a whole.

public enum VerificationOutcome

Fields

CertificateExpired = 4

The signing certificate has expired.

CertificateNotFound = 6

The referenced certificate was not found in the catalogue.

CertificateUntrusted = 3

The signing certificate is not trusted by the configured trust anchors.

ChecksumMismatch = 9

Checksum dimension only: the computed digest of the file does not match the cryptographic hash declared in the catalogue.

S-100 Edition 5.2.1 Part 15 §15-8.10.

Error = 7

An unexpected error occurred during verification.

FileMissing = 5

The referenced file was not found in the asset source.

NoChecksum = 8

Checksum dimension only: the file is present and readable but the catalogue declares no cryptographic hash (urn:mrn:iho:s100:hash:…, S-100 Edition 5.2.1 Part 15 §15-8.10) to compare against, so its content integrity could not be independently verified.

NotSigned = 1

The file or catalogue carries no digital signature.

Ok = 0

The signature was verified successfully, or (in the checksum dimension) the computed digest matched the declared digest.

SignatureInvalid = 2

The signature does not match the file content.

Withdrawn = 10

The record withdraws a cancelled dataset (IsWithdrawal), so it is not verified: nothing loads it, and its file is usually absent. Not a failure.

Remarks

S-100 Edition 5.2.1 Part 15. The same enumeration is used for two independent dimensions on FileVerificationResult: the digital-signature dimension (Outcome) and the checksum/integrity dimension (ChecksumOutcome). Members are append-only so downstream consumers (including the S-57 exchange-set bridge) can mirror the names and ordinals; Withdrawn is S-100 only.
