Class PointInstruction

Namespace

Assembly

A point-symbol placement instruction. Geometry is the feature's point position, resolved by FeatureReference.

Properties

AreaPlacement

Where the anchor goes on a surface (S-100 Part 9 AreaPlacement): a representative point inside the area, kept in the visible part of the area as the view moves (VisibleParts, the default) or fixed (Geographic). Ignored for points, curves and an explicit CoordinateOverride.

public AreaPlacementMode AreaPlacement { get; init; }

Property Value

AreaPlacementMode

CoordinateOverride

Optional explicit (latitude, longitude) anchor that overrides the feature's geometry-derived anchor. Set by the S-100 Part 9 §11.5 AugmentedPoint primitive in GeographicCRS mode (e.g. used by S-101 SOUNDG03 to place each sounding of a MultiPoint feature at its own coordinate).

public GeoPosition? CoordinateOverride { get; init; }

Property Value

GeoPosition?

LinePlacementPosition

Optional fractional position (0.0–1.0) along the feature's curve geometry at which to anchor the symbol. Used for line-placed symbols.

public double? LinePlacementPosition { get; init; }

Property Value

double?

LocalOffsetX

Local horizontal offset of the symbol from the geometry anchor, in millimetres on the nominal S-100 display surface (S-100 Part 9 §11.3).

public double LocalOffsetX { get; init; }

Property Value

double

LocalOffsetY

Local vertical offset of the symbol from the geometry anchor, in millimetres on the nominal S-100 display surface (S-100 Part 9 §11.3). Positive values move the symbol toward the bottom of the display.

public double LocalOffsetY { get; init; }

Property Value

double

Rotation

Symbol rotation in degrees, clockwise, measured in RotationCrs. Null means upright.

public double? Rotation { get; init; }

Property Value

double?

RotationCrs

The frame Rotation is measured in (S-100 Part 9 rotationCRS): the screen (Portrayal, the default) or true north (Geographic). It only matters on a rotated display, where a Portrayal symbol stays upright and a Geographic one turns with the chart.

public SymbolRotationCrs RotationCrs { get; init; }

Property Value

SymbolRotationCrs

SymbolReference

Reference (by name) to a symbol in the portrayal catalogue.

public string? SymbolReference { get; init; }

Property Value

string

SymbolScale

Symbol scale factor (1.0 = nominal size).

public double SymbolScale { get; init; }

Property Value

double
